We provide asset and income protection covering major risks of loss that are present during the entire 'Trade' Chain - end-to-end coverage of potentially large losses from the beginning of the Supply Chain (purchases) to the end of the Distribution Chain - final payment of goods and services provided.

Trade Credit Insurance: We structure, broker and arrange Trade Credit Insurance programs that protect against loss of Accounts Receivable Assets resulting from

•  Commercial Risks - Customer's Insolvency, Bankruptcy, Slow     Pay Behavior and Non - Acceptance of Product.

•  Political Risks - Foreign Government Suspension of Import     Licenses, Currency Inconvertibility, Confiscation etc.

A properly designed Trade Credit Insurance policy will

•  Increase your company's sales revenues and bottom line profits     by offering more competitive payment terms without taking     additional undue risk of loss to your customers in the U.S. and     around the world and

• Leverage the value of your company's Trade Accounts     Receivable as collateral with your sources of financing.

Accounts Receivable PUTS: An Accounts Receivable (A/R) PUT is a simple contract where a major bank agrees to buy specified accounts receivables at face value if the obligor files for bankruptcy.

A/R PUTS allow a Vendor to protect specifically against customers credit collapse, without affecting ongoing commercial relationships or regular payment processes. A/R PUTS also protect against the credit risk of a specific customer with potential credit or concentration issues, including distressed customers.

The Vendor pays a specified premium for credit protection on a designated amount of that obligor's receivables during the contract term. A/R PUTS can be coordinated with other forms of receivables management, such as factoring or portfolio-based trade credit insurance. A/R PUT documentation is straightforward, based on standardized credit market terms. Coverage is available for public and liquid private companies.

Stock Throughput Insurance: Stock Throughput Insurance covers your company's goods (assets) against physical loss or damage while in your control anywhere in the global supply chain, in transit and in storage as company owned inventory. It covers goods in a manufacturing process (but does not cover for damage to your goods 'caused' directly by the manufacturing process).

Stock Throughput Insurance combines the traditional marine cargo, inland transit and inventory insurance policies purchased individually in the marine and property markets.

Political Risk Insurance: We structure, broker and arrange Political Risk Insurance that protects against loss arising out of

•  Suspension or cancellation of export and import licenses by a foreign government

•  War, hostilities, rebellion, civil commotion or other disturbances that interrupt payment of shipment invoices

•  Confiscation, expropriation or other arbitrary and discriminatory action taken by a foreign government.

Trade Disruption Insurance: We design and broker Trade Disruption Insurance that protects against loss of income and extraordinary expenses when there is a 'disruption' in our client's Supply Chain. Such disruptions can be caused by

•  Political Events (embargo or terrorism)

•  Physical Events (closure of a navigable waterway)

•  Natural Events (hurricanes that can close a port) and

•  Financial Events (insolvency of a key supplier or supplier).

These perils do not produce a physical loss or damage to the goods being shipped. Rather, they can cause opportunity profits to be lost and extra expenses incurred to continue the Supply Chain based on our client's manufacturing and distribution obligations.

Trade Finance: We assist our clients in structuring cost competitive pre-export and post shipment export financing, positioning our clients to offer more competitive payment terms for their international customers.

Supply Chain Risk Management: For those clients who wish proven advice and assistance on how to protect their Trade Supply Chains from Disruption or how to write and implement a sound internal Credit Policy, World Trade Consult, LLC can help. At heart, we are ‘risk managers' for companies that need to understand first the ‘risk' spectrum of Supply Chains and second what tools and techniques are available to successfully protect against unforeseen losses that can occur along the entire Trade Supply Chain. From raw material purchases to delivery of the final product or service to your customer in the U.S. and abroad, your company's assets are at risk of loss.
